From October 2 to 4, 2026, Circo di Strada will provide roaming entertainment during the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia at the Sepang International Circuit near Kuala Lumpur.

Formula 1 and roaming entertainment: Circo di Strada circus parade at the Malaysia F1 Grand Prix
When people think of Formula 1, they often picture drivers, pit stops, and races. Behind the scenes, however, a Grand Prix is about much more than just the action on the track.
Tens of thousands of visitors spend hours at the event venue. This is precisely where roving entertainment plays a key role, creating atmosphere and fostering interaction and unexpected encounters among visitors from all over the world.
Our performers bring circus arts and street theater directly to the audience. There are no fixed grandstands or stages—just entertainment that moves through the event space.
At the Formula 1 event in Malaysia, our performers roam the venue featuring acrobatics, juggling, unicycling, stilt-walking, and visual interaction. These colorful, high-quality circus parades have become a signature trademark of www.circodistrada.com

From the Netherlands to Malaysia
Our history with Formula 1 began a few years ago in Bahrain.
What started as an initial international assignment grew into multiple collaborations at Formula 1 events. We are now contributing to the spectator experience at a Grand Prix for the fifth time.
We are proud of the trust shown by international organizers. It demonstrates that roaming entertainment and circus parades can be a valuable addition, even at the world's largest sporting events.

Ten Years of Circo di Strada
The assignment in Malaysia coincides with a special milestone: in 2026, Circo di Strada will mark its tenth anniversary.
Over the past decade, the troupe has grown from an ambitious concept into an international performance group active across 14 countries and three continents. Our circus parades have featured at major festivals, city parades, street theater events, cultural gatherings, and international sporting events.
Another highlight of the year was our participation in the Macao International Parade, where our parade Circolation won the Best Costume Award. Shortly before that, we provided entertainment at the LIV Golf Riyadh event in Saudi Arabia.
Now, another remarkable international event awaits: Formula 1 in Malaysia.

Off to the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix
The return of Formula 1 to the iconic Sepang International Circuit is drawing visitors from many countries to Malaysia.
Amidst the thousands of race fans at the Malaysian Grand Prix, the Circo di Strada circus parade will also be performing as roaming entertainment—right where we feel most at home: in the midst of the crowd.
We look forward to surprising visitors from around the globe with circus acts, interaction, and entertainment during this, our fifth Formula 1 engagement.
