On Friday 8 November, Roermond was transformed into a true light spectacle during the Lights On Parade. This year it was a special edition, because the professional entertainment group Circo di Strada by Night brought their enchanting circus parade to the atmospheric city centre. This unique light parade promised an evening full of wonder and spectacle, suitable for young and old.

The evening started at 18:00 on the Stationsplein, where the parade started under the guidance of impressive light figures on stilts. These magical creatures, dressed in thousands of twinkling lights, immediately created a festive atmosphere at the beginning of the parade. The group of Circo di Strada was a real feast for the eyes, with their LED costumes and beautiful circus attributes. Jugglers, acrobats and unicyclists, all illuminated in bright colours, provided a breathtaking spectacle that passed through the streets of Roermond.

The parade route wound through the city centre, with mood lighting being switched on along the way. This lighting added an extra layer of magic to the historic streets of Roermond and made it a visual spectacle. The parade eventually ended at the Designer Outlet Roermond, where the festivities reached a climax with a spectacular light show and fireworks.

In addition to admiring the parade, children could enjoy a free ride on the Ferris wheel at the Designer Outlet. In addition, free lights were handed out so that they could also contribute to the festive atmosphere.
